Ramadan Kareem The holy month of Ramadan is known to be a time of fasting and prayer for Muslims to seek mercy and compassion and to do the will of their Creator. Cornelius was told by an angel that “your prayers and alms have ascended as a memorial before God” (Acts 10:4). We should also pray for them to receive the gospel from the apostle/missionary Peter, who will be their memorial before God. Meanwhile, there is one special day when many Muslims experience the Lord better than any other time. It is the 27th day of their fast. This day… The 27th night of Ramadan, commonly known as the “Night of Power,” is a day when Muslims have the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with Allah (SWT). The blessings of Laylat al-Qadr have made it a night unlike any other, from increasing the rewards of charity to accepting prayers. The amazing thing is that, as Nabil Qureshi said, “I met Jesus, asking Allah to help me,” it is a wonderful night when many of our Muslim brothers and sisters meet our Lord Jesus Christ in dreams, and visions. Therefore, saints, we should pray for our brothers and sisters to find peace of soul, show them the love of Christ, and tell them the truth in love. Fuller Theological Seminary has compiled a report based on 750 new Muslims in 30 countries who have been saved by Christ and believed in the gospel. The paths of these people to Christ are diverse, but they also have common reasons. While their personal testimonies are unique, they share five main reasons in common: 1. The testimony of the lives of Christians. 2. The prayers offered in the name of Christ and their miraculous answers. 3. Dissatisfaction with Islam. 4. A desire to find spiritual truth from the Bible. 5. The love of Christ is what enables them to connect with the Lord and to experience a life of peace and rest. I began to study reports about the increasing number of Muslims turning to Christ. David Garrison, a Muslim, said that since the Muslim turn to Christ began, at least 100 new churches have sprung up in the Arab world. Algeria, in particular, has made history by allowing a church to be built at the state level. David wrote about what he saw while traveling to every Muslim country. He traveled more than a quarter of a million miles from West Africa to the Indonesian archipelago. In the process, I visited 44 movements, each of which had more than 1,000 converts to Jesus Christ from the Muslim faith. I have been able to collect more than 1,000 interviews with dozens of men and women who are active in the world. We will continue to present you with the following stories from the bottom up. We would like to ask you to stand by the Ethiopian Evangelical Church International Mission Society in the Sahel region of East and West Africa so that the missionary work of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church can satisfy the thirst of God and bear the fruit of the labor of Christ’s soul. Tomorrow, Friday, let us all be before God in fasting and prayer, thinking of the Arab world and the blessed Sahel region.
