Nekemte Congregation was unable to celebrate Mission Day on January 17 due to various reasons, so they celebrated the day with special enthusiasm by inviting the Mission Society’s Mobilizer, Kassahun Negatu, on February 8, 2018.
Youths, women, children and adults participated in this Mission Day program by shining shoes, bidding, selling and buying tickets, and it was raised that more than 200 thousand birr was collected for the Great Mission on that day.
“Let’s Fulfill Our Mission” Minister Kassahun Ngatu reminded that one of the ways we show God’s love is to reach the world with the gospel through our finances, prayers, and by going to the unreached in the field. Nekemte Congregation of the Faithful is a church that is doing a great job by sending missionary Reverend Dr. Teshome Genetti and Ms. Bogalech Temesgen to the Mersa Bet Mission in East Africa, as well as missionaries Eba Temesgen and Ms. Lelyse Gudisa.
